Hi Lewis,
Hello, bgware Users.
Thank you, Bruce, for writing mailfront! I just discovered it a
little while ago, and it looks very nice. And I'm pleased to see
that there have been no security advisories for it as far as I can
tell.
I'm interested in using mailfront with a qmail back-end.
It looks like mailfront can do everything I wish for except for
greylisting. Is there a recommended greylisting plug-in for
mailfront? (Or, if you think greylisting is not useful, I'd be
interested in hearing your rationale.)
Personally I dropped using greylisting as many clients complaint about
mails not receive in a timely manner... ... anyway there is a plugin
called mailfront-plugin-policyd
(http://osdir.com/ml/sysutils.bgware/2008-09/msg00000.html).

Thanks.

Kindest regards,

I haven't had many complaints about delayed mail due to my greylister, but
that's probably because it's quite conservative, fuzzes addresses to a
/24, and whitelists any address that's ever retried.

The fuzzing version of the daemon isn't on my web site, but if anyone
wants it, I can put it there.

R's,
John

Hi, John.

I like your original version, but I would be quite interested in your
fuzzing version too.

Thanks!
